Inclusion, Equality and Diversity

BSR is committed to encouraging inclusion, equality and diversity in our workforce. We are actively trying to increase the diversity of our staff team. We try to reduce as many barriers as we can for those with a disability. Below are some examples of how we try to do this automatically.
We know that everyone is an individual, so please always tell us what we can do to support you. Here is what we will always do:
  • be clear on whether each stage of the process is a telephone call, in person or online
  • ensure our panel have good light in the room they are in and reduce sound distractions
  • let you know who you will meet at your interview
  • offer a familiarity session on Teams software if you have not used this before
  • Our brand and our recruitment system (Pinpoint) meet double A accessibility standards.
We welcome approaches from individuals from underrepresented groups, including those from minoritised communities, and those with a disability, to better reflect the community we serve and help broaden our perspectives.

Access to work

This is a government scheme which supports employees with a disability. We can help you to apply for any funding which might support you to be able to do your job to the best of your ability.

Conditions covered by Access to Work include any disability or health condition that affects your ability to do a job, or means you have to pay work-related costs, for example, special computer equipment or travel costs because you can’t use public transport. This includes mental health conditions.

It must also either be likely to last at least a year or have lasted at least a year already.
